皇家加勒比郵輪 Royal Caribbean 宣佈，為於明年一月為Liberty of the Seas 進行一系列改裝及翻新工程，而當中亮點則是增設大型水上樂園，當中包括三座大型滑梯及互動兒童嬉水池。集團早前已宣佈 Majesty of the Seas 及 Quantum of the Seas 都將會新增這些設施。

大家有所不知，皇家加勒比郵輪在行業內一直追求創新，曾先後推出多項令人嘩然的設施，如海上溜冰場、攀石牆、模擬跳傘及滑浪等。反而水上樂園則是首次由嘉年華郵輪公司 Carnival 在1996年引入。
